To all 99’ers

I regret to say that we have lost a classmate.  I got a phone call tonight from John Roe informing me that Chip Dwight from Charlie Co. passed away today February 3.  As many of you know Chip developed leukemia and was successfully fighting it until recently.  The funeral will be held in North Carolina this Sunday at 2:30 PM.

Sincerely,

Ty Yount

This was taken from an E-mail from an Alumni to the Web Page, received on May 11, 1999:

"You were a class that did things well: You took back the leadership from Jenkins Hall, and you showed style with your class gift.

Finally you showed tremendous style at graduation.  You made your point with the cheers for Maggio without distracting from the overall ceremony.

Well done, good luck and welcome to the alumni ranks".
